Yo! Payments comes with an easy-to-use, secure USSD interface.  USSD enables you to keep track of your Payment account while on the go, from your mobile phone, without needing Internet access.  The USSD interface interface enables you to quickly check balance, make transfers, view statements, and other features.  The USSD interface is great if you have no mobile Internet connectivity and will work with any type of mobile phone.

Yo! Payments Business Account holders can receive mobile money into their Yo! Payments account from a mobile money account holder.

This is easily the most important feature of Yo! Payments as it opens a new channel through which you may receive payments from your customers for your services. Yo! Payments currently supports MTN Uganda's MTN MobileMoney and will connect to 3 other Mobile Money Transfer platforms before mid 2011.
